Does Drinking Water Delay/Reset Gastric Emptying?

I think this is important/relevant considering some supplements are better taken on an empty stomach.
I usually wait 2.5 hours after eating to drink ANY water. Does anyone know if drinking water during that 2.5 hour window, will reset or prolong gastric emptying? Or does it depend on the amount of liquid being consumed?

It depends on a lot of factors. In general, drinking some water after a meal helps with absorption of things. Obviously drinking a ton might be a different story. However, drinking a moderate amount should be fine. The only exception to that is if you just took something that is very water insoluble. That might hinder things a bit.
