AGPC 50 % is blended with either di basic calcium or mannitol. What does the supplement facts label state? Open one capsule and put into water. If it dissolves it is probably mannitol. IMHO This is probably what you have. If there is precipitate then it is di basic calcium. Di basic will not dissolve in water or alcohol. Di basic is the preferred blend for encapsulation for precisely this reason. You can also try a taste test. If it is sweet it is a mannitol base.

Our powder and capsules are formulated differently from each other. Our 50% powder uses mannitol so that it dissolves in drinks better and has a more pleasant and sweet flavor. Our 99% powder is very sweet, so many people would freak out at the old 50% formulation not tasting the same and think it was fake. So we specially formulate our own 50% using mannitol for our powder now. This makes it dissolve and taste more like the 99% does, which prevents a lot of the confusion with people. We use a different formulation in our capsules that is designed to flow over the encapsulation machinery better. This gives more consistent fill weights, and we don't care about solubility or taste as much, since it is inside of a capsule.

Has anyone tried Excelerol? I'm interested in trying it because it is apparently one of the best nootropics out there, but I'm a bit suspicious because I've never heard anyone talk about it on this subreddit.
