Just wanted to bring attention to Nootropics Depot (/u/MisterYouAreSoDumb) and their outstanding service. I've ordered some Bacopa and Gotu Kola as a first test to see how shipping, service etc will work out since I live in Europe.
Normally I order from MindNutrition (/u/MindNutrition) and don't get me wrong, they're great for an european audience, but since It costs me the same in shipping either way (MN's fastest shipping option is 22+ euros, ND was ~25 for the "DHL Express Shipping", I figured there was nothing to lose to try it out.
Well, I place my order on the 16th at 7:12 PM. By 7:45PM my package was shipped. Today, the 18th at 11:20 AM the packet arrived safe and sound, with no customs problems nor fees (I think Ireland has a 150EUR exemption).
Considering Nootropics Depot's reputation for quality and considering I got my order even faster than orders from Mind Nutrition (UK), I have nothing to complain about and will definitely order more from them as an EU customer.
I was not paid nor am I affiliated in any way with either companies. I'm just a noot user like the rest of you and wanted to give credit where credit is due from an European perspective, as there aren't m…

That's the case for me and my friends at least. Don't know about your other customers, but since all packages from the US to germany go through Frankfurt, I suspect it's an inconvenience for many others too. I'd greatly appreciate if you could change that setting, though I'd be fine sending your team a message with my orders if people want to have both options. I was just surprised that your team told me they couldn't change the customs declaration for my order to list the specific contents.

They probably told you that because that was their instructions from their managers, not that they could not physically change it. My support team will only do what I have approved them to do. So I will have to update our policy if we want to start listing German packages differently. Everything we do these days has a written SOP with sign-offs. So if we change the policy, we have to change the SOP before it goes into effect.
This also would only affect customers in Germany. Just because our DHL Ecommerce packages traverse through Germany as an entry point into the EU doesn't mean it passes German customs there. It will only pass through German customs if the final destination is Germany. It's just that the DHL hub is in Germany. So our standard mail packages go through their first.
I'll speak to my team about changing the policy on German shipments. They also might have more info that I don't on what has worked or not worked in the past. I know we have spoken about this before, but I am not sure the conclusion of it all. I just sent a message to my team about it, though.
