Shelf Life Of ND Nootropics
Original post in this thread

I came across a handful of open nootropics like racetams from ND that I thought were lost during my move. I’ve noticed bloating on some capsules but others seem I believe okay.
They got to be atleast 6 months old some newer and other bottles look even older possibly near a year.
Do you think it’s okay taking these? I’m wanna make sure I’m not taking it if it’s lost its use.
What they were answering

Uncontrolled temp enclosed storage unit during winter a cold and snowy winter. They bottles were all called- maybe the aniracetam was not, but then zip locked in storage bags inside of an enclosed tub.
However I know as far as temp they sat in the negatives or atleast single digits for weeks, and as far as heat being metal but enclosed I’d say 80’s, 90’s.
Humidity was near upper 80 to 90% on average once the weather warmed up.
Moisture content from the humidity has me worried, I never removed their silica gel pouches either.

The humidity would be the one that would cause the most issues. They are probably fine, as long as they have not hardened into an unusable form. The ones I would be concerned about in that environment would be pramiracetam, ginseng root, alpha-GPC 99%, fasoracetam, and anything in a softgel. Those are the ones most susceptible to heat/moisture. Most everything else should be fine.
