Concern about the peptide Epitalon. Too good to be true?

I am 19 and considering taking this. it slows down aging by a long shot, and there is quite a bit of research on it showing it drastically helping the elderly. My main concern is cancer.... one half claims it causes cancer, the other half claims it prevents it. Someone please give me a reason to take it, or a reason not to.
I am extremely interested in this peptide and really hope it works. what are all the drawbacks if there are any confirmed ones? (including speculations)
Anyone here take the stuff long term? what were the results?

Updating an old thread but would you say people under the age of 25 should not be taking this? It would make sense to me that many of the theoretical benefits would not apply to young people.

Yeah, I would probably caution people under 25 from taking it, unless there is a valid reason to.
