I posted a bit back regarding some issues I was having to which another user replied clearing up that what I described sounded more like mild psychosis if anything and essentially an overactive 'fight or flight' response. It was to the point of delirium. My mood, executive functions, and stress tolerance were beyond fucked. Sounds would make me angry and I'd obsess about them (someone coughing felt like an undertoned insult) and avoid them. I'd been on benzos, antipsychotics, and a whole slew of antidepressants but it was just getting progressively worse, even off kratom/weed/etc, I felt like I was just as bad (in a slightly different configuration of symptoms, however).
Finally, after all this research into neurotransmitter systems and so on, I decided to google "misinterpreting sounds". One of the first links was about schizophrenia and at this point I thought anything was possible but towards the end of the read the article went into how OCD can seem like it where the person searches for/imagines people saying things even when they're not which can seem like hearing voices. Just logging back into this account and seeing these comments - looks like the arsenic/cadmium thing makes it a bad idea, but yes, the difference is huge for me personally. I'm not so sure that its the form as much as it is the delivery mechanism - it dissolves/fizzes so I think it gets into the bloodstream quite quickly. If you come up with a cleaner alternative, I'll place an order.
