Magnesium: WTF?

I posted a bit back regarding some issues I was having to which another user replied clearing up that what I described sounded more like mild psychosis if anything and essentially an overactive 'fight or flight' response. It was to the point of delirium. My mood, executive functions, and stress tolerance were beyond fucked. Sounds would make me angry and I'd obsess about them (someone coughing felt like an undertoned insult) and avoid them. I'd been on benzos, antipsychotics, and a whole slew of antidepressants but it was just getting progressively worse, even off kratom/weed/etc, I felt like I was just as bad (in a slightly different configuration of symptoms, however).
Finally, after all this research into neurotransmitter systems and so on, I decided to google "misinterpreting sounds". One of the first links was about schizophrenia and at this point I thought anything was possible but towards the end of the read the article went into how OCD can seem like it where the person searches for/imagines people saying things even when they're not which can seem like hearing voices. Man, that Natural Calm stuff is a whole different level of goodness. I've taken mg on and off ranging from the crap, to the expensive versions such as l-threonate and glycinates.
Ain't nothin' like that Natural Calm. I get home after days full of intense work tense as hell. I whip up some of that calm on a relatively empty stomach, and my whole body gasps and sighs with relief.

You really feel that much of a difference between it and glycinate? That's interesting! It seems to be a mixture of magnesium carbonate and citric acid, which in solution forms di-basic magnesium citrate. That's a slightly different salt than the traditional magnesium citrate. I might have to try it out, and see if I get the same effects.
