/r/nootropics "clinical trials"?

Had an idea while I was at work today. What if we, as a subreddit, ran our own form of clinical trials and aggregated the results?
For example, we vote on a specific compound to try - say BPC-157. We decide a duration for the study, RoA, and dose. Users can then join if they want and then log how they've been affected daily, also noting what other things they've been taking with it (if applicable).
No, this won't be nearly as accurate as a proper clinical trial in the least bit - but it will still help create a repository of information, if even anecdotal, to help users to understand what to expect from certain substances and combinations of them.
If wanted, we could even ask on certain "trials" for medical results, like blood work or whatnot, to see if we can determine how something might affect someone's health.
Any thoughts? Maybe if this idea gets enough interest the mods could help host these?

Never intended for it to be scientifically valid - just informally. A sort of rogue way to really learn more about these compounds since it seems like the rate of studies for some of these things is rather slow.

Definitely. I think if you got the right people onboard to help you, then it could be a cool project. You'd need someone that is familiar with statistical analysis, with a bonus of them knowing study design. I'd sponsor the actual product needed for it for free. I just can't really be a formal part of the running/design/etc. That's for both legal reasons, and to prevent people from claiming bias. The more I get into things, the more I learn about all the thousands of laws and regulations that can screw me. So I get more cautious/conservative as time goes on. I was ignorantly optimistic when I started out in all this. Reality has smacked me in the face more times than I can count now, though.
