I hadn't been getting any results from 1/3 gram sublingual doses 3 times a day of NR but I had been rubbing standard no flush niacin on my face in the shower and got some in my eyes. I put some NR in a bottle of allergy eye drops and tried it out. Immediately calming.
I started noticing my mood deteriorating and social situations getting harder to handle when I would forget to use some for stretches of time, which was often because the nozzle would clog, so I bought larger nozzle gentle eye drops and searched out what else I could put in there. I found N-Acetyl Carnosine eye drops for sale but ridiculously expensive unless you actually needed them for cataracts removal so I ordered a few grams of N-Acetyl Carnosine and mixed equal amounts of Nicotinamide Riboside and N-Acetyl Carnosine into the bottle 75mg for a 15ml bottle. It's been pretty fantastic.
If I use them regularly the carnosine fixes my nearsightedness, without glasses I can see like I did when I was a teenager, the NR is calming on use and so subtle I won't make any other claims to it's effects other than to mention that it seems to allow me to see in the dark a lot better.
