Fasoracetam

Hello /r/Nootropics

I have a couple of general questions regarding Fasoracetam. I searched this sub (I think I read every topic and most of the comments) and a couple other sites regarding info on this substance. However, it never hurts to get more anecdotes. So as for the questions:

1. What have you found to be the most effective dose (dose AND # of times dosed a day)?
2. In addition, what RoA (route of administration) have you found most effective (sublingual or oral)?
3. Have you found it more beneficial taken on an empty stomach or with food?
4. What are the acute and long term effects for you?

I have read anecdotally that Fasoracetam has given people a mood, concentration, and focus boost (general motivation boost, the reason I want to try it). I have also read that it helps with anxiety as well (this is not as much of a problem for me, and not the reason I am looking into the substance, but I digress). Additionally, the effects are supposedly increased as the substance is used more.

Essentially I am looking for any and all anecdotes for this substance; good or bad.

Interesting stuff. So while aniracetam and piracetam target different sites, aniracetam doesn't actually reach the target intact. It seems that there's less overlap between the substances than I thought.

So... what is exactly going on? Is aniracetam potent enough on its own to modulate AMPA even when only a fraction of it reaches the brain intact? Is aniracetam's ability to modulate AMPA overrated when it comes to oral administration? Should aniracetam be cycled (enhancing GABA rings alarm bells for me). What are the metabolites's possible roles in causing:

* Ability to reduce stress by enhancing the effects of cortical GABA
* Decreases the rate of receptor desensitization of AMPA receptors
* Increases blood flow and activity in brain regions associated with holistic thinking
* Is a positive allosteric modulator of the AMPA receptors
* Improve mood by modulating the breakdown of dopamine and serotonin

Via oral administration in humans, no.

No, you are mostly getting the effects of the metabolites. They have their own effects, but this is why many people find Aniracetam to not be that impressive. Most people that react well to it are those with high anxiety, as the N-anisoyl-GABA is helping with that.

Should aniracetam be cycled (enhancing GABA rings alarm bells for me).

No, it does not really need to be cycled. It is not agonizing GABA. It's modulating your natural GABA levels, along with dopamine and serotonin.

What are the metabolites's possible roles in causing:

* Ability to reduce stress by enhancing the effects of cortical GABA- Aniracetam direct effect

* Decreases the rate of receptor desensitization of AMPA receptors- Aniracetam direct effect, and some from 2-pyrrolidinone

* Increases blood flow and activity in brain regions associated with holistic thinking- Combination of Aniracetam and metabolites

* Is a positive allosteric modulator of the AMPA receptors- Aniracetam direct effect, and some from 2-pyrrolidinone

* Improve mood by modulating the breakdown of dopamine and serotonin- From N-anisoyl-GABA

Why should I spend additional money on suppliers that charge more than powdercity?

Have you actually even looked at the prices, or are you just assuming PC is lower? We are actually lower on certain things, and the exact same on others. In fact, we are half price on some things. Actually look at the pr

I've been using piracetam for over two years. AMA

No offense, but why are you posting this? You have been taking very low doses of piracetam, irregularly, without any real testing, and with very little experience with other Racetams. I don't want to sound like a dick, b

Phenylpiracetam would theoretically metabolize into phenibut, why does nobody ever mention this?

Interesting thought. However, phenylpiracetam is not metabolized in any meaningful amounts, and is excreted mostly unchanged in urine and sweat. Approximately 40% of the dose administered is excreted with urine, and abou
