Over the last few months /u/stacklifetim and I have been working on a new site called StackLife and we’re looking for some beta users & feedback.
The concept is basically github for stacks. Our goal is to create a repository for stacks, with tools to view revisions over time, clone/modify other users formulas, and track stacks you are interested in by other users. You can then copy reddit markdown for a particular revision and share it on /r/stackadvice etc. for a full discussion.
We have partnered with pill manufacturing labs and worked with them to extend their process to enable single bottle or small batch production so you can order your stacks. We regularly review these labs for cleanliness, safety, and measurement accuracy. Our goal is to minimize risks of sourcing, measuring, and mixing and provide a way to go from theory/experimentation to physical production in the same place. Every batch we produce (even a single bottle) is produced in a US cGMP facility and tested as if it were a mass manufacturing run.

You're the best! We want to start with some basics like noopept or piracetam. We'll be in touch via email or PM soon.
We'd also love to hear about failures before us. We are aware of a couple and we are trying to take a different approach in a few ways. Primarily, we don't run our own (capital heavy) facilities, although it's attractive. Instead we work with existing cGMP facilities, work with them to get MoQ low via various optimizations. We then verify and extend their sourcing, testing, and general safety. We also encourage them to swap to reliable compound sources we find, and (ideally) strive towards carrying more interesting compounds. Ultimately, we hope this will allow us to succeed where others may have failed.
Additionally, we are trying to create something that has value (stack repository system) for the community even if a user doesn't ever make a sale. This is where the DMAA, LSD, etc, comes in - we want to list every possible ingredient to make the tool expressive. Our "in stock" list is considerably smaller.

Yeah, your model looks more sustainable. Less overhead will make it easier to make the numbers work. You'll be fighting economies of scale the whole time, though. I am very interested to see if you can make it work. It will be interesting to see what types of costs your partners give you for single, or even small batch, runs. Making a million capsules is always going to be cheaper per unit than making 60. You'll have to get creative!
