Are noopept and piracetam just really cheap, or am I missing something?

I recently started taking Piracetam and it is fantastic. I decided to start exploring nootropics and everything I've been looking at seems really expensive compared to piracetam (With the exception of noopept).
Pramiracetam for example looks to be about $16 for two weeks of powder whereas $12 of piracetam is a little over a month's worth. I'm just wondering if I'm missing something because I don't see many people mention price around here. I've been shopping at Powder City for reference.

Is that why Phenylpiracetam and the like are more expensive? Everyone obviously has their own price, but for now, I can't justify the price of the more expensive racetams when piracetam is working so well. Although I guess the people who are willing to shell out more money are probably the people who don't respond much to the cheaper racetams.

There is a lot that goes into the price of various nootropics. Piracetam is a simple synthesis, with a very common precursor at its core. Not only that, it is the most sold nootropic in volume by far.
Phenylpiracetam has to start from a completely different precursor, so you can control which position the phenyl group is attached to. You can't synthesize phenylpiracetam from piracetam by adding the benzene ring. You need to start with a completely different base molecule. Also, the demand is lower by volume.
The other racetams are the same. It's not just adding things to piracetam. They are totally different syntheses, with differing demand levels.
