Why is there such little information on N-Acetyl Semax Amidate or N-Acetyl Selank?

This is why I'm reluctant to taking those. What is the idea behind acetylating a peptide that was already developed by experts in Russia after years of research?
I feel the process was kind of "yo bro, it worked well with heroin and aspirins, why not on semax" because I can't think of a way to determine the changes in SEMAX's pharmacology given that its MOA is not even well understood.

Acetylation and amidation is a very common modification to peptides. Did you know that most of your endogenous peptides used by your body are acetylated and amidated? That is what most peptides exist as in their natural forms. This is not broscience based around looking at heroin... These are well-known and common things researchers do to peptides to improve their pharmacokinetics in the body, and make exogenous peptides act more like endogenous ones. It's pretty insulting to me that you think I am just saying "yo bro, it worked well with heroin and aspirins, why not on semax."

Also, open any textbook about peptide synthesis, and you will see sections talking about acetylation and amidation of peptides, and why it is done. This is not some crackpot broscience thing I thought up while snorting lines of piracetam off a table. These are well-known concepts in the scientific community that deals with peptides.
