Why is there such little information on N-Acetyl Semax Amidate or N-Acetyl Selank?

I tried N-Acetyl Semax Amidate and I found it more efficient and also a bit different than the original compound. That being said, I do believe there are a few solid reasons why these drugs have never been produced in Russia. And I guess this fact has to do something with safety, efficacy or both. Scientists who spent years on developing this compound would have chosen the best version. What do you think?

No, I don't think. If that were the case, we would never come out with improved versions of drugs, because they already made the best version the first time around. That is a crazy thing to think. Things can be improved, and new and improved versions of drugs are made all the time. Open any peptide synthesis textbook, and you will see acetylation and amidation of peptides discussed, and the benefits of doing so. We can speculate all we want about why people did not think to do something before someone did. However, an appeal to authority is never a valid reason to call into question an improved version of a compound. Why did nobody think of lisdexamphetamine when amphetamine was first synthesized in 1887? It's just an extra lysine, afterall...
