sorry i took so long, just read this
thank you for this, the image is pretty cool and informative.
chemistry is quite interesting.
so the ethyl ester is l-prolylglycine which turns to cylco-prolylglycine, phenylacetic acid and ethanol.
im sorry i thought that the name l-prolylglycine would be a portmanteau of its constituents.

Well L-prolylglycine is kind of a portmanteau. It's the levorotory isomer of the peptide made of proline and glycine. So L-proline and L-glycine are the two amino acids that make it up, thus the name L-prolylglycine. In Noopept, it's in its ethyl ester form. Normally L-prolylglycine is in the straight amino acid form, with an open hydroxyl group. In Noopept, it has an ethyl ester capping the C-terminus. Cylco-prolylglycine is L-prolylglycine, where it has been cyclized, and the open hydroxyl curves around to form a bond with the open nitrogen of the pyrrolidine ring.

Dipeptide analogs of piracetam, noopept, sulpiride,... exhibiting far superior potency and specificity to their putative mechanisms.

They are not talking about analogs of noopept. Noopept IS the analog they are discussing. The other compounds are not analogs of piracetam, either. They took inspiration from some of the functional groups, but they are V

Anyone experimented with THT's CNTF fragment 147-150?

No!!!! You can't just say, "Ohh, the active sequence in P21 is DGGL, so let's just sell powdered DGGL!" Pharmacodynamics do not work like that! That would be like saying, "Ohh dopamine is good. Let's sell powdered dopami

Will heat or acidity degrade noopept? (can I put noopept in my morning cup of coffee?)

Noopept's melting point is 97*C (206*F). That is less than boiling, which is what most people use for coffee. So I would not suggest putting it in boiling water. I'd be worried about stomach enzymes too. Oral administra

There is some really cool stuff now that may be doing just that. I took my first dose of SR9009 today. That is a Rev-ErbA agonist, which reverses mitochondrial damage, and even creates new mitochondria in cells. It has b

Four(-ish) questions about NA-Selank!

1) N-Acetyl Selank's anxiolytic mechanism is related to its ability to inhibit enkephaline-degrading ezymes. That increases the levels of your body's natural opioids. That inhibition modulates the dopaminergic system, an
