I don't get as hungover. Why?

I used to get brutal hangovers. I'd basically spend the next day on the couch until 5:00 PM or so. But I don't anymore, which is weird since I am getting older, so if anything, I'd expect hangovers to be worse. My hangovers now are very noticeably better than they used to be. So here are the supplements I take and other changes I made:
* Turmeric
* N-acetyl cysteine
* Alpha Lipoic Acid
* Magnesium (600 mg/day)
* Pay attention to gut health (probiotics, resistant starch, gelatin)
* Ate low carb for about a year (really focused on eating fat, and trying to get cholesterol up).
Any thoughts on what is going on here? My best guess is that the turmeric/NAC/ALA combo upped the glutathione in my body.

Uhh, you are taking two of the three things I suggest everyone take before drinking... N-Acetylcysteine, Magnesium, and a B complex. The ALA helps too. Also, having a healthy GI tract does wonders as well. But seriously, NAC and magnesium are a must before drinking.
