GLYX-13 cut the learning time for mice by 90%...

Incredible results that might have been looked over.

From:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3035742/pdf/nihms-243591.pdf

TLDR:
" In both vehicle-treated and GLYX-13- treated 27–32 month old FBNF1 rats, performance improved across test days (F(9,23) = 16.0, P < .0001). GLYX-13-treated animals required 90% fewer trials to learn the task (8 out of 10 consecutive trials with an adaptive CRs) compared to vehicle treated animals (F1,23) = 7.9, P < .01)."

Cheers. :D

EDIT: Sorry title should read: "GLYX-13 cut learning time for rats by 90%"...

Anyway, absolutely astounding results in my humble opinion.

I know from reports that similar issues occurred with stuff like PEH. Looks simple enough; but, just couldn't be made an purified to the desired amount...

While we're on the same page, I have another potentially blockbuster compound, with the potential to be in greater demand and quite profitable. I'm sure you've heard of D-deprenyl? That is one compound that a lot of people would love to see. I have some potential suppliers; but, none trustworthy as they're from India and the purity of their products is somewhat sketchy?

Anyway, as you can clearly see, there is quite a huge demand for this compound and looking at it from a POV of utility to humanity, if you will, it's quite a noble endeavor.

I have a potential supplier from China that I've spoken with THT about. I will see what their MOQ and cost is and I'll try and set you up with them if they're willing to take on this synthesis.

Again, not a huge amount is required of this compound. Like I said, 10g will be more than enough to have a ROI for this compound. Offer nasal sprays labeled as XYZ, with "proprietary" ingredients in it to avoid legal troubles and you're set. I really hope you're as interested in this as I am...

Best regards.

I'll PM the supplier I mentioned once I get some details about cost and if they're willing to undertake the synthesis and at what amount.

D-deprenyl metabolizes into D-methamphetamine. I have become a bit more risk averse in the last 6 months. So that is why I have avoided it. I'll probably leave the D-deprenyl to other vendors willing to take on more legal risk.

I am certainly interested in NRX-1074, and will eventually do a synth. I just do not want to force it at the moment. I've already gotten suppliers and labs interested in it. If one pans out, I will certainly go forward with it. I am just not going to spend a lot of time and money on it at the moment.

As for Modafinil. Why fix it if it ain't broken? Trying to keep it simple stupid. :)

Why settle, when things can be improved? Plus, who is getting reliable and purity tested Modafinil in the US right now? It's schedule 4. Everyone has to trust Indian generics implicitly. I can't even get a lab to purity test Modafinil for me, due to DEA regulations. Imagine a more effective version of Modafinil, unscheduled, and sold in powder form with HPLC purity standards that everyone can see? You can't say that is not a massive improvement. Plus, I have been working on it for years. I am very invested in its success now.

If you find a lab willing to do an NRX-1074 synth, I will certainly consider getting involved to help make it work.
