Powder City Coluracetam not cream coloured?

After reading scienceguys post on his coluracetam synthesis, among other reports, I checked out my order of Coluracetam from Powder City, and found it was not cream coloured as his synthesis was, but almost pure white.
Most of the effects seem to check out fine, but experience varies with racetams and that's not a reliable indicator.

What do you guy's think? Is PowderCity selling what they say they are selling?
Update:
Got the COA from a /u/PowderCity . and learned some more about why discolorations can happen in chem synthesis, see the comments. Confident that I'm getting the chemical I ordered, and it's pure.

Scienceguy's synth was one of the first ever. They have changed and improved synthesis methods since then, which has created a more white end product. This happens with a lot of new Nootropic compounds. Even small fractions of a percent change in purity can have drastic effects on the color of a powder. Color alone is not an indication of identity or purity.
