Was just browsing wikipedia and discovered this while browsing the racetam section.

Anyone heard of this before? Curious as to why no one carries it or talks about it. And no Google results whatsoever.
Seems like it would be an even more potent form of phenylpiracetam

Cool. There is good reason to want to synth a sigma-1 PAM (like methylphenylpiracetam). It is that sigma-1 allosteric modulation is known to have antidepressant activity: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26854125
That's a bonus on top of the expected nootropic activity of MPP.

Ohh trust me, I really want to try it too. Sigma-1 modulation is an area I really want to investigate more. If I had my own synthesis lab, I would have already done it.
