Is ephedrine + caffeine the most powerful legal stimulant/smart drug

Title. By legal I mean non-prescription. Real ephedrine is available anywhere in Canada. EC taken daily costs between 25cents to 50cents, where as something like modafinil is much, much more expensive. Thoughts?

Very interesting. How would you verify the specific rotation, though? You would need a polarimeter, which are not common in labs.

What is the best nootropic for someone looking primarily for a boost of energy and motivation that's stronger than caffeine but less extreme than amphetamines?

This is a big problem I am seeing with people new to nootropics. They want to immediately jump into a stack, and do not want to put in the time to try thing by themselves, and see how each one affects them in isolation.
