CalmAid (lavender/silexan) has been astounding

I finally caved to /u/shrillthrill 's advice and purchased some CalmAid soft gels.

And they've been utterly amazing. I can think clearly now. I didn't even realize how much anxiety was plaguing me. The anxiety relief I've been getting feels more potent than xanax (or Etizolam).

I've noticed:

* I'm incredibly calm in social situations, which are much easier now. No more heart pounding, sweating, hot face, racing mind, etc. My social cues are better and my responses seem more structured and often are witty.

* I used to sit in my room and worry about all the things I had to do, and just how many responsibilities I had. Essentially wanting to do everything at once. Now, I remain relaxed and focused.

* The focus, my god. I find myself doing my school work with an immense level of focus, but it's not intense like with adderall or something. But I was able to read an entire textbook chapter, start to finish, without getting bored or losing my focus.

I definitely felt similar benefits from Ashwagandha, but nothing of this magnitude. I've also ceased Ashwagandha use temporarily due to possible thyroid issues.

Do you like fasoracetam now? I thought I remember you saying it was mostly just weirdly stimulating.

It intrigues me. It certainly slows the tolerance effect of Phenibut in my testing. I also get great effects taking large 100mg oral dosage before bed. I wake up feeling great, and have no stress during the day. When I take Fasoracetam in the AM, I feel more tired during the day. I don't really get the stimulation I did when I first started taking it.

Fasoracetam

Replying to vapefker · > It is NOT directly binding to GABAb, and is not a GABAb antagonist like many state. Thanks for pointing this out, as many people falsely claim it to be. One would assume a GABAb

Fasoracetam does up-regulate GABAb. So it can help with that side of Phenibut tolerance. However, Phenibut also stimulates dopamine receptors and antagonizes β-phenethylamine. So it will not affect those tolerance levels
