All sprays have been pulled at Ceretropic. Message at the top of the website says this "Credit card processing is currently down while we move our peptide offerings to a different site. We apologize for the inconvenience."
Any one know exactly what is going on? Will they no longer offer sprays?
What they were answering

Yes, I do think the government would do it this way. There are bureaucracies whose agents want to regulate activities they are not authorized to regulated. Because they cannot win in court, they use other levers. They can intimidate, they can selectively enforce unrelated statutes, they can hold up regulatory approval for unrelated activities... Banks, in particular, are subject to any array of agencies with considerable regulatory discretion. So it makes perfect sense that the government would intimidate banks if they don't like the nootropics industry (either because of some distorted sense of morality, or overly broad interpretation of duties, or to benefit another private industry who has sway with the relevant bureaucracies).
Here's a great essay discussing how the law is becoming less relevant for bureaucracies: http://faculty.chicagobooth.edu/john.cochrane/research/papers/rule%20of%20law%20and%20regulation%20essay.pdf

A government agency would at least send us a cease and desist letter first, and flex their muscle that way. Even if they might not win in court down the line, they know most people will just comply out of fear. I cannot see them secretly emailing people in the background, tattling on them.
