Bad Batch of Tianeptine Sodium?

Because of the tianeptine shortage, I took a chance on an unknown vendor (ordertianeptine.com). I found him through eBay but he also has a website. He posted an HPLC-type analysis paper along with his auction on eBay. It showed 99% purity.
Tianeptine usually causes a "gnawing" sensation in my stomach. Taking it with food always counteracts this sensation. Not so with this batch. Last night the gnawing and gurgling culminated in severe diarrhea, nausea and pain. I tried taking a much smaller dose today (12.5 mg according to my scale) and within 20 minutes the gurgling was back. Food does not help. My brain also feels "off"...more anxiety and cognitive impairment than usual. Most worryingly, my hands won't stop trembling. It's a minor tremor, but still noticeable.
Have any of you ordered from this vendor before? What adulterants or impurities might be present in a badly-synthed batch of tianeptine? Before trying this batch, I ordered some of the tianeptine sulfate from the same vendor. Should I throw that out too?
R.I.P. my stomach :[
UPDATE: The tianeptine sulfate from the same vendor does not cause these side effects for me. Makes me think there is somethin…

I built our own testing lab with an HPLC and FTIR. I was going to get an NMR. However, after the Thermo Scientific rep came to our office, and straight up told me nether their Picospin 45 or 80 are accurate enough for our testing, I decided to just go for a mass spec next. To get the resolution we are looking for in an NMR, we would need a cryogenic magnet unit.
I used to send everything off to a lab for analysis. However, they started to have long delays, since I kept sending other people and companies their way. I probably should have thought of that before suggesting them to everyone. Haha. I was also spending a lot of money a month with them anyways. So I figured I would just build our own testing lab. So we are setup with Sigma Aldrich now with a lab account, and use them for all the reference standards. We still send new compounds that don't have standards yet off to be NMR tested. But that only comes up when we bring out new things.
