Bad Batch of Tianeptine Sodium?

Because of the tianeptine shortage, I took a chance on an unknown vendor (ordertianeptine.com). I found him through eBay but he also has a website. He posted an HPLC-type analysis paper along with his auction on eBay. It showed 99% purity.
Tianeptine usually causes a "gnawing" sensation in my stomach. Taking it with food always counteracts this sensation. Not so with this batch. Last night the gnawing and gurgling culminated in severe diarrhea, nausea and pain. I tried taking a much smaller dose today (12.5 mg according to my scale) and within 20 minutes the gurgling was back. Food does not help. My brain also feels "off"...more anxiety and cognitive impairment than usual. Most worryingly, my hands won't stop trembling. It's a minor tremor, but still noticeable.
Have any of you ordered from this vendor before? What adulterants or impurities might be present in a badly-synthed batch of tianeptine? Before trying this batch, I ordered some of the tianeptine sulfate from the same vendor. Should I throw that out too?
R.I.P. my stomach :[
UPDATE: The tianeptine sulfate from the same vendor does not cause these side effects for me. Makes me think there is somethin…

Most synths for tianeptine sodium use sodium hydroxide in the final step. If they did not do the final step properly, there could be unreacted NaOH left in there. NaOH is called caustic soda, and is highly corrosive. It reacts very similar to Tianeptine Sodium when exposed to water. It is white, odorless, and will pull moisture from the air. Without testing, you would not be able to see the difference. Swallowing sodium hydroxide causes severe abdominal pain and diarrhea.
Now I am not saying that is for sure what the issue is. I don't want to alarm you too much. Send me a sample from it, and I will run testing on it to see if there is an issue.
