My kid is decent, is very smart and has a clean room, enjoys gaming and does a lot of research on the PC and also builds computers. and runs a YouTube channel that makes around 50$ a month from adrevenue, He gets very bad grades, does not usually try and says its boring, he is smart and knows a lot but you still need a high school education. He does take some prescriptions, he takes antidepressants for depression which is now all worked out(Not sure how long your even supposed to take that) and 40mg of Adderall a day for his ADHD which sometimes he does not take it because he is not doing anything important that day.

I was in his room and looked in the entertainment center drawer(I know, should not do this. Honestly i just was walking around the house and had a curiosity). I open the drawer and see around 200 of these pill strips, its called Modalert 200, you can look it up on images. the majority was those and some was this Artvigil-150. Now i did a lot of research and read some subreddits about it and it appears to be not for abusing drugs as i know he would not do that because he knows a ton about medicine and knows how all his medications effect his neurotransmitters and suc…

Sleeping 7-8 hours is the normal healthy range for a fully developed adult, 8-10 is normal while still growing/developing. Though depression could still be a factor I just thought I'd put it out there.

That's true, and males sleep longer on average than females. Had they not said anything about antidepressant use, being tired all the time, getting bad grades, and self-medicating with Modafinil, then I probably would not have said anything. But getting 8-10 hours of sleep, and still being tired and unmotivated all the time, can be a sign of depression. I suppose it is more about being tired/unmotivated, in spite of sleeping, that is the issue.

The results from our latest round of testing are in. We all had a pretty good idea that the Bacognize would fair well, as Nootropics Depot's tests showed. However, we now have 3rd party results confirming it. * Lead- .0

It's time to have the Modafinil talk again.

It's been seven months since I made this post: http://www.reddit.com/r/Nootropics/comments/199n7l/modafinil_posts/ We had a lull in the modafinil posts for a while, but now they are back in full swing. I just want to re

Here to warn the community that I've experienced debilitating rebound anxiety when taking l-theanine. It was 100 percent this substance. Quit a week ago and back to baseline. Theanine is going in the trash.

Why is Modafinil considered a "smart-drug" while amphetamines are not considered "smart drugs"?

I think many people consider amphetamine a smart drug. The main objective difference is that Modafinil has been shown to be neuroprotective, while amphetamine can be neurotoxic. That's all in the dosages, though. [Even g
