I've been trialing it out since February. It is very similar to caffeine. Perhaps less of a tolerance buildup, and more sedative if you take lower dosages. It's a caffeine molecule with an extra methyl and carbonyl group

In some respects, yes. I have a caffeine tolerance, and I still feel a 100-200mg dose of theacrine. However, they are both acting on the same adenosine system.

8-Cyclopentyl-1,3-dimethylxanthine is an adenosine antagonist that I think only has a half life of about 1 hour. It's very uncommon, though.
