After placing my most recent order, I realized that I have spent a lot of money on my experimental hobby. I've started to pick favorites and only use things that seem to work well for me, but only the best things on the market currently are consistently effective. I believe that mankind is ready to begin auto-evolution to some degree, and I want to be part of the result. Most nootropics users I know have a strong belief that nootropics may change the world one day, so why don't we bring change sooner?
Currently there aren't many businesses leading the way in novel products and services. Ceretropic is great, but they can't be the only ones looking for info. The best way to discover and experience more of the world of nootropics is to invest time to learn about different substances and share what you learn. The key to advancing our community is discourse, but lately there had been more shopping for answers that exchange of knowledge.

I have a mast cell disorder, so I treat that with antihistamines. However, am also a poor methylator; which is not really a diagnosable disease. So I self-treat with trimethylglycine and methyl-B12 to correct that. When I brought my genetic testing results into my GP, and even my immunologist, they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. So obviously they did not prescribe me methyl donors to help balance those genetic mutations. I had to research on my own, and try things out, to find what worked best for me.
How did you figure that out? Did you use 23andme testing? I've been very much intrigued by tailoring my nootropic usage to my individual biochemistry, since many of the psychoactive/nootropic substances that I've used over the years has had weird effects on me, so I'd like to find a better way to anchor my nootropic schedule instead of blindly shooting darts at a dartboard.
Continuous supplementation of piracetam at various dosages doesn't work, phenylpiracetam feels like a shitty, neurotic, yet weak stimulant that doesn't even translate into physical performance, caffeine + l-theanine doesn't give me nearly as much positive effects as everybody else seems to be getting, and I have no idea when the other adaptogens that I seem to be taking will kick in. Forget about the nutrition (Vitamin D, omega 3/6 oils, magnesium, zinc, B-vitamins, better diet, etc.)--I h…

My mast cell disorder was diagnosed by doctors a long time ago. The methylation results I got from 23andMe testing, then running the results through Genetic Genie and Promethase. You can get a lot of good information using 23andMe results.
