Tianeptine Sulfate taste

Got my tianeptine sulfate from a different vendor this time. To my surprise, it tastes quite differently. I was used to Ceretropic's stuff, which doesn't taste sour at all. It did have a distinct taste however.
The new stuff has an additional, slight sourness to it, reminds me of ascorbic acid. How does your tianeptine sulfate powder taste? Should I be concerned about the purity of my new tia-s?

My tianeptine sulfate from your store had this very slight "fresh" note to it (can't really remember if I would describe it as sour) when initially opened, after a few weeks this faded and only the bitter and slightly weird note remained. This went hand in hand with a minimal albeit noticeable change in consistency, perhaps due to repeated exposure to natural moisture in the air of the room. The first couple of doses produced something akin to a minimal numbing sensation, which also faded with time (and breaks). All very very subtle, overall. I guess some people might even describe the powder as rather tasteless, depending on their capacity to taste stuff. Btw I ordered on March 29, just fyi so you can attribute my report to the right batch.

There is certainly a taste to the sulfate. It is just nowhere near the taste of the sodium salt. Some people might call it tasteless, depending on what their taste buds are like. It is a slight bitterness in my opinion.
