Tianeptine Sulfate taste

Got my tianeptine sulfate from a different vendor this time. To my surprise, it tastes quite differently. I was used to Ceretropic's stuff, which doesn't taste sour at all. It did have a distinct taste however.
The new stuff has an additional, slight sourness to it, reminds me of ascorbic acid. How does your tianeptine sulfate powder taste? Should I be concerned about the purity of my new tia-s?

Hm, that's weird. Maybe not quite rubbing alcohol but a definite, slight bitterness. Is everything the same production wise? I may as well just be misremembering.

Everything is the same production wise. Same lab and everything. I actually tasted them back to back when the new batch came in, and did not detect any difference in flavor or smell. I do that with most of the powders, to detect anything obviously off before purity testing. I just don't with the super-potent substances, like Memantine or LGD.
