Is there a way to test neurotransmitter levels at home?

Even if we could, it would not be accurate. Synapses are small. Even reliably getting CNS plasma levels of neurotransmitters would not give us enough information about the levels in the different brain regions, much less the levels currently in the synapses themselves. We are a loooong ways off from anything like that.
