Has anyone tried Zembrin for cognitive enhancement?

Supposedly it's strong a PDE4-inhibitor, which would preview the increase of CREB levels; and as I weakly argue might facilitate procedural memory and thus fluid intlligence.
Zembrin would be where I would set ground zero for testing this hypothesis unless someone has other CREB modulators in mind.

I'm not sure what you mean by "extracts are unreliable" in what way? dose wise? effect wise? am I not getting what I think I'm supposed to get with an extract or what?

Traditionally, plant extracts are not reliable in the amount of active ingredients they delivers across batches. That is why we have started to synthesize the active ingredients of plants pure, and make our own "extracts." So you know exactly how much active ingredient is in each dose, across all batches.
That being said, some extracts are good. Bacognize is one for bacopa. Zembrin may also be a good one for kanna. They have to standardize to the active ingredient, and actually test for it in each batch. Most supplement extracts out there do not do that.
