Hello,

I have bought raw maca capsules from Puritan's Pride 1000mg. Intending to take 1 in the morning, 1 at night for libido.

The thing is that after i take it I feel like I'm lightly high, have a nottoo strong headache and I generally don't feel up to do anything for a while. Is this a normal effect on Maca?

Also, I've been reading about raw vs gelatinized, is raw really that bad for me? I haven't noticed any stomach upsets, but I only took 2 pills so far.

Not for the loss of 4 weeks of my life. It would probably cost me more than that being down that long, plus the pain of horrible GI issues. I literally passed out from the pain last time.
