Powdercity looks great, lots of compounds on a single site. Owners are also active and helpful on this subreddit. I am about to put a big order myself however I can't help but see many posts complaining about quality of the products.

These posts are not a scientific approach to support my argument but still....
This supplier has been trusted for a long time but is it reliable nowadays, care to share your experiences (pls name compound as well)?

That's odd! You'd think that any additional compounds would have turned up in those tests. Any speculation on how that could happen?

Not everything shows up on every test. There are solvents that will not show up on HPLC. It not showing up on FTIR is surprising. However, it might be potent enough in small amounts to make a difference, but not change the spectrum. A GC/MS should be able to separate everything, and show the peaks from what is in it. Most people do not GC/MS all samples.
