For those that have tried both is there any noticeable difference in terms of efficacy and side effects?

From my personal testing, and speaking to a lot of other people about it, the freebase seems more potent when used sublingually. The phosphate should be better for oral. Keep in mind that the dosages in the studies are all in phosphate.
