Vitamin B12 supplementation has noticeable effect on me, yet it shouldn't. What gives?

I took a sub-lingual Jarrow 5000 Methyl B-12 supplement, and felt more energetic and felt a dull sensation on my forhead.
The problem is that I researched B-12 defficiency on the internet and there is no way I have one given my diet.
What is going on? I have taken many noots before, and this doesn't feel like placebo. I feel like I am going insane because I can't convince myself that I the affect it had on me was illusory when it was more far noticeable than most other Nootropics. Is there any way B-12 could actually have an affect on me even if I am not deficient (or at least shouldn't be deficient)?
