I don't mean to brag; but, a lot of the novel nootropics our there today and soon to be resulted from a personal effect mostly pushed forward from my efforts. You can look at my topic history at Longecity in such compounds such as;
IDRA-21
ISRIB (TBA)
(-)-BPAP
D-deprenyl (TBA, soon)
Pitolisant
7,8-Dihydroxyflavone
GTS-21 (TBA, soon)
Neuropeptide S
F2MPA (TBA)
NRX-1074 (yes, we found the structure, TBA)
Oh, DIHEXA (possibly) and one other really promising compound that I still can't mention; but, will definitely be a great nootropic...
But, the above self tooting is besides the point... With the point, being that without your interest this would never have been possible. As, it stands now the nootropics market is composed a a few entities, Ceretropic, Newmind, THT, NootropicsDepot, and TeamTLR. IMO, a consumer driven nootropics market will always be more efficient and attract much more interest than a top down type of market that we have now. It's mostly a hybrid at the moment; but, the closer to a consumer driven market, the better, since that will allow better nootropics to be made and a more educated public.
So, until now I've relied on myself to get interestin…

As you know, ideas are great, but delivering on them is much harder than it looks. I have attempted to source most of those compounds, and we too have found NRX-1074. However, most are not economical at the current demand levels. I can get some of these going. However, many of them need 5-10kg to make the per unit cost low enough to justify. Then you are talking about $40,000 synths, of compounds that may or may not live up to the hype. The risk is too high on many of them. Not to mention I have tried a few of them, and none of them were that great.
The only way things become economical is if we get enough supplier demand drummed up, and they can scale up the synths. Until we get a lot of vendors on board with certain compounds, suppliers will not touch them. So you are left with small custom synths, with very high initial costs.
But hey, git er done if you can.
