I don't mean to brag; but, a lot of the novel nootropics our there today and soon to be resulted from a personal effect mostly pushed forward from my efforts. You can look at my topic history at Longecity in such compounds such as;
IDRA-21
ISRIB (TBA)
(-)-BPAP
D-deprenyl (TBA, soon)
Pitolisant
7,8-Dihydroxyflavone
GTS-21 (TBA, soon)
Neuropeptide S
F2MPA (TBA)
NRX-1074 (yes, we found the structure, TBA)
Oh, DIHEXA (possibly) and one other really promising compound that I still can't mention; but, will definitely be a great nootropic...
But, the above self tooting is besides the point... With the point, being that without your interest this would never have been possible. As, it stands now the nootropics market is composed a a few entities, Ceretropic, Newmind, THT, NootropicsDepot, and TeamTLR. IMO, a consumer driven nootropics market will always be more efficient and attract much more interest than a top down type of market that we have now. It's mostly a hybrid at the moment; but, the closer to a consumer driven market, the better, since that will allow better nootropics to be made and a more educated public.
So, until now I've relied on myself to get interestin…

Send me the paper if you can with the compound you have in mind. I'd really appreciate that.
As for spreading out the risk, this already takes place at Longecity. I just thought of creating a good platform where this can take place instead of on whim at Longecity. Just check, the PRL, EVP, DIHEXA, and some other threads...

If you are going to be successful at it, it is going to take a lot of work. Setting up a central site, with tracking for projects, and clearly defined expectations, would be a good thing. But that is going to take up a lot of someone's time. Who is going to donate the time to run that?
