Can anyone explain what this means in regards to how it affects you? Does it mean you will experience less pleasure because it inhibits dopamine?

I want a technology that allows increasing the long term good feelings that come from doing things that help other people, and decreases the short term good feelings that come from doing things that hurt other people.
I want a technology that helps people grasp the patterns of the world faster, and to gain deeper insights.
That's probably too much to ask from culture, religion and education, let alone simple molecules. But I do subscribe to the creed that to change the world, we must change our minds - to change our minds, we can change our brains - and to change our brains, we should learn as much as we can about how they work.
