We still don't completely understand how Tylenol (Paracetamol/Acetaminophen) works to reduce pain. This is one of the most widely used over-the-counter medications, available practically anywhere in the world and discovered over 100 years ago. The brain is an extremely complex thing that we are far from fully understanding at present.
I'm not trying to make any particular point with this; there are a few different arguments/conclusions you could reach from it. I just wanted to share this for those who didn't know. Be critical about everything you read, do proper research on a substance, but know that we really don't know how even the "simplest", most common medications work. Something to think about...
