Has anyone actually tried Fluorenol/Hydrafinil yet? And why is it named Hydrafinil if it is not an afinil? That seems a bit misleading.

It's somewhat random at times how things are named. There is no set rule for it. Just look at the recent modafinil analog Modafiendz. Whoever named that thought it would be a good idea to keep the prefix, and add fiendz to the back. Not the way I would have gone, but I did not name it. We thought since this one had a hydroxyl group, and two phenyl groups, that Hydrafinil would be an appropriate name for it. We did not consider the drawbacks of naming it that, or the confusion that may arise. I see the arguments against it now, and will certainly take that into consideration in the future.
