Has anyone actually tried Fluorenol/Hydrafinil yet? And why is it named Hydrafinil if it is not an afinil? That seems a bit misleading.

Thanks for the explanation! Could you by chance explain what exactly the reduced DAT does? I understand it is addiction related, but I'm not too sure.

It means that the substance does not block the re-uptake of dopamine out of the synapse as much. So your extracellular dopamine levels will be lower than with modafinil. That may mean that it does not work as well for people with ADHD. However, it also reduced the side effects, like not being able to take caffeine and other stimulants with it. It also is a 5-HT6 antagonist, which increases dopamine and serotonin in the frontal cortex. So there is a mood enhancing property to it. Not as in your face as tianeptine, but more than modafinil.
