Has anyone actually tried Fluorenol/Hydrafinil yet? And why is it named Hydrafinil if it is not an afinil? That seems a bit misleading.

I don't want to say "what exactly is the point in taking Fluorenol instead of moda", but with all of the comparisons with Moda I've seen, it does beg the question.
I can see only two advantages with Fluorenol:
A study published by chemists working for the biopharmaceutical company Cephalon to develop a successor to the anti-narcolepsy drug modafinil reported that fluorenol was 39% more effective than modafinil at keeping mice awake over a 4 hour period.
Does that translate well to humans?
It also has a significantly shorter half life, so if you didn't want to be affected by Moda ~14 hours later, you could take Fluorenol instead, for a shorter period of wakefulness.
Neither of those really seem like big advantages to me. Maybe it is because a "39% increase in wakefulness" is really hard to relate to. How do they even quantify "wakefulness" like that?
If someone were a happy, frequent user of Moda, why should they:
Try Fluorenol / Switch to Fluorenol / Stack Moda and Fluorenol / Cycle Moda and Fluorenol / Stay the hell away from Fluorenol
Thanks!

It feels completely different than modafinil. I do not use adrafinil or modafinil anymore, due to the interactions and side effects. I can use fluorenol, though. I like to be able to dose halfway through the day, and know I can sleep at night. I like to be able to drink coffee, and take other stimulants, without getting all screwed up like on modafinil. I like to be able to go out and have a few beers with friends at night, which I cannot do on modafinil. So it fits what I need better than the other afinils.
If you are happy with modafinil, then stay with modafinil. Or satiate your curiosity and see how our Hydrafinil works for you. It might work better for you, or it might be worse. But if you are happy with modafinil, and are not curious about what something 140% as eugerioc and less DAT-heavy feels like, then stick with what works.
