Coluracetam Causing Depression?
Original post in this thread

I've read great things about coluracetam so I decided to try it out. I should say that I've been going through some difficult times personally but had been dealing with them okay. I've been using coluracetam at 15 mg twice a day and since I've been doing that my mood has gone from slightly down to borderline suicidal. When I've taken choline supplements in the past I felt roughly the same. Does it make sense that coluracetam could have the same effect? I realize this is confounded by my personal issues but I appreciate any input from people more educated on this topic than me. Thanks in advance.

The only other nootropic I'm taking right now is tianeptine.
EDIT: And no antidepressants.

Ohh, well that is a big one! Some people have paradoxical reactions to tianeptine. My girlfriend is one of them. It makes her irritable and unhappy.
Did you start them together? It could very well be the coluracetam. However, I would look at the tianeptine first.
