I used to be very enthusiastic about kratom and I was taking a small dose (2.5g) twice a week.
It makes me able to focus on whatever task for 4 hours without having the tentation to multitask, which is great.
Maybe the increased creativity (which I noticed too) is a byproduct of this ability to focus in depth on a matter: personnally, every time I focus on something for a long time, I'm able to come up with new ideas.
Now, on the not-so-bright side, kratom is definitely addictive and for me it leads to some weird mood swings. This part is ok if you can control it but what made me stop my bi-weekly kratom routine is that it gave my skin a pretty bad greenish color, and my eyes were rounded with nasty looking dark circles: not good...
Now, I'll just take it once a month aprox and just if I have an important work to do.

That's interesting. I have never gotten skin issues. It can lead to mood swing if you are not careful. The opioid system is complicated.
What strain were you using?
