After a family tragedy, I experienced severe insomnia. That was good my primary symptom. Turned out it was a major depressive episode. Long story short, went through all the ssri's only to find sleep with Elavil.
Eventually I was out on Paxil seamlessly since the side effects of the tricyclic were horrendous. I've been on a low dose ever since before bed. My mood is rather blunt and I don't see Paxil doing anything positive or negative to my mind and body.
I've tried coming off, but that's another story. I was looking to use Tianeptine on a weekend basis at the recommended doses. I've used other serotonergic substances like Zembrin sporadically with no ill effect.
I'm curious to know, if you thought Tianeptine may be something that could help me get a mood boost on the weekend including Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I don't drink or do other illicit drugs...anymore lol.

It could work. Tianeptine has been combined with Paxil before with good effect. However, you should speak to your doctor about it.
