Personally I find it much more effective than SSRIs, with almost no side effects. It doesn't blunt the lows at the expense of the highs. Rather, it gives a nice low-level mood lift.

I agree. It just takes my base level mood and kicks it up a couple notches. I have not noticed any withdrawals, though. Nothing compared to real withdrawals anyway.

I would continue to do so. The same goes for modafinil and alcohol. Basically alcohol is an asshole that doesn't play well with others. It sucks because I enjoy brewing beer. Ohh well.

I'm not sure how people who have used real opioids can honestly compare the effects of high dose tianeptine to them. It is simply a completely different feeling, with much more fog and side effects, than a real opioid.
