Ah, I must have misunderstood sublingual, I thought that sublingual referred to pills that needed to be placed under the tongue to absorb into the blood stream. Does this liquid just get swallowed?

It's a sublingual liquid. That means you put the liquid under your tongue and allow it to be absorbed by the mucous membranes. The propylene glycol helps aid in the absorption.
