Had the biggest effect with me out of all the things I've tried, and I've tried a lot. Before building tolerance it produced noticeable sedative and euphoric effects, and even since building a tolerance, taking a pinch sublingually every other day keeps anxiety and depression away like nothing else.
But, of course, all our individual responses to various noots is stronger or weaker depending on what our mind needs, and mine really needed the SSRI action, it seems.

Ohh sure, it is a great natural antidepressant. I just wouldn't consider it a nootropic, as it is not really leading to enhanced cognition or memory.
