Possible allergic reaction to piracetam?

I ordered 125 mg of piracetam from Nootropics Depot and started using it as part of a small stack:
200 mg l-theanine
100 mg caffeine
1.2 grams piracetam powder
I had been taking l-theanine and caffeine for about two weeks with good results, then added the piracetam about four days ago. About three days ago I developed an extremely itchy rash on my chest and back, which has spread to my shoulders and face (but, oddly and thankfully, not to my lower body). I've stopped taking the piracetam, continued with the l-theanine and caffeine combo and started a short steroid regimen prescribed by my doctor for the rash, but haven't seen much improvement yet.
Anyone have a similar experience? Or can you speculate as to the possibility that it's a belated response to the l-theanine?

I would suggest ceasing all supplementation. It could very well be the L-theanine/caffeine too. Sometimes it takes 2 weeks before an allergic reaction manifests. It took weeks for me to develop an allergy to maca. Now the symptoms start almost immediately if I have any. That is usually how allergic reactions work.
After the rash goes away, you can start slowly adding each back into your regimen. When the symptoms start again, then you'll know which one it is. The oral steroids are going to make it hard to determine for the time being.
