Piracetam used to be a wonder drug for me but I seem to have developed a tolerance. Noopept works well in the same way, but has the negative side effect of making it hard to multi-task by messing with short-term memory. Which racetam should I try next? It all seems so subjective.

Not to frustrate you more, but this belongs in /r/StackAdvice.
If you were happy with piracetam, I would jump to oxiracetam. It's very similar, but active at a lower dose.
